Privacy Policy

Friction Labs builds and operates AI systems for local businesses. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to what's needed to run the service for you and your customers.

What we collect

Account data you give us — your name, business name, email, and billing details — to set up and run your workspace.

Customer interaction data your business generates through our agents — calls, texts, bookings, reviews, and CRM records — so the AI can respond and so you can see what happened.

Usage and diagnostic data — anonymized analytics about how the product is used — so we can keep it fast and reliable.

How we use it

To operate the service: answering missed calls, booking jobs, sending follow-ups, and surfacing leads in your dashboard.

To improve reliability and performance. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your customers' data to train third-party models.

Where it lives

We self-host on our own infrastructure behind Cloudflare, with data stored in a managed Postgres database. Stored client credentials and API keys are encrypted at rest.

Each client's data is isolated with row-level security so one workspace can never read another's.

Third-party services

To deliver the service we rely on a small set of providers — telephony/SMS, model inference, scheduling, email, and analytics. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Cancel anytime and export your history — your data stays yours.
